August 2016 Career Conference Results

The August 2016 Career Conference in Chicago proved successful for the transitioning officers, our client companies and the Cameron-Brooks team. As we now launch into the follow-up interview process, I am confident that the JMOs with whom we’ve partnered have taken a very positive step toward transitioning and starting their careers on Corporate America. For the August 2016 Career Conference, 53 candidates , 17 spouses/significant others, and over 34 companies were in attendance. Additionally, 24 Cameron-Brooks alumni attended the Conference returning to hire on behalf of their companies, many of whom are leading in high-level roles within their organization.

At the Conference, the candidates averaged 12.5 interviews and over 660 interviews were conducted at the Conference on Monday and Tuesday! As a group, the pursuit rate was over 61%, with the pursuit rate defined as the number of interviews in which the candidates achieved success divided by the total number of their interviews.   Achieving success in an interview at the Career Conference simply means the companies expressed interest in moving forward in the interview process with the candidate.  So, for this Conference, the August candidates converted, on average, 7.7 of those 12.5 interviews into a successful interview.  Congratulations to the August Career Conference candidates on taking their first steps towards a new and exciting career in Corporate America!
