January 2025 Career Conference Preview
We have a great group of JMOs ready to take the next steps toward launching their business careers at the upcoming January 2025 Career Conference.
Every JMO candidate attending the conference has been enrolled in the Development and Preparation Program, a curriculum-based, self-paced online learning program. It’s like a mini-MBA, including 1-1 coaching and workshops, designed to help military officers sharpen their business knowledge and prepare to hit the ground running from day one in business. On average, these future business leaders have spent roughly 11 – 12 months in the program preparing.
They’ve spent time reading, learning, applying, and operationalizing recognized industry practices so they can effectively translate their military backgrounds to business via:
- Their resume!
- In an Interview setting!
They’ve spent hundreds of hours thus far engaged in preparation and are ready to interview as they’re at the culmination of the program and are two weeks out from attending this 4 ½ day hiring event scheduled 45-60 days before they start their Terminal Leave. At the conference, they will be inserted directly into the hiring process where they will be interviewing with Hiring Managers and decision-makers.
