June 2022 Career Conference Results
The June 2022 Career Conference has now concluded, and we are already beginning the coordination with our candidates and client companies for follow-up interviews. Although headlines have been hinting at the possibility of a recession, the conference was a very successful event! All of us at Cameron-Brooks want to give a very sincere and heartfelt thank you to all of the candidates and client companies who decided to partner with us as they launch new careers and add strong leadership talent to their organizations.
So what were the statistics?
We had 50 candidates, 39 distinct companies, and over 60 different hiring groups as multiple companies had multiple divisions attend. Additionally, 28 Cameron-Brooks alumni returned to recruit and find top JMO talent for their organizations.
The candidates conducted over 625 interviews with an average of 12.7 interviews per candidate! Check out a sampling of candidate interview schedules here. The pursuit rate for this Career Conference was 75.6! The “pursuit rate” is defined as the number of interviews in which the candidates achieved success divided by the total number of their interviews. “Achieving success” in an interview at the Career Conference simply means the candidates got over the “bar” set by our client companies, and the companies have expressed interest in moving forward with the candidate.
So, we are off to a fantastic start in helping our candidates with their career transition and pivot from a successful military leader to a successful business leader. Since the pandemic started, we have seen the follow-up process accelerate, with the average number of days from Career Conference to offer acceptance being just 12.2 working days! So, for the next two to three weeks, the candidates will be involved in the follow-up interview process based on mutual interest from the Conference.
